Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are dozens of types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons – to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellbeing.

Sports & Structural Massage

Structural dynamic sports massage combines sports massage with additional structural corrections and alignment therapies to help support the whole body. Firm massage helps to relieve the muscles of tension, work away lactic acid build-up (that can feel like knots in the muscle), improve injuries and prevent further injuries and discomfort. Realignments and assisted stretches (optional) help the body to heal and perform at its best. This therapy works the muscular and skeletal system to bring the body into balance.
